2nd Race – Brno – 160 km.

This day was a black day in TS ŽILINA. Mr. Matuška called it such a day a few days ago in TS TALENT QUATRO CZ, where on the 1st day he had 390 pigeons from 1505 entered.

It’s the same for me, with the only difference being that he is in his 12th year and I am in my 1st year, and that will make many fanciers think that it is due to poor care for the pigeons.

Explanation from my side:

After 40 years of pigeon racing, I don’t know that I would have made a mistake that would have caused this.

The pigeons trained on their own every day for 1.15 – 1.30 hours without being scared.

This week they were the healthiest of their entire stay in OLR, and not a single pigeon showed the slightest health problem.

There were 6 experienced fanciers from Žilina and Pov. Bystrice and everyone agreed that the pigeons were in 100% condition and health and ready for the final.

The pigeons were driven by an experienced driver who had driven the Žilina OZ for 2 years.

At the start it was sunny, 13°C, no wind – ideal weather.

Result:

A terrifying range of the pigeons and a heart attack day for me.
