NEW SEASON 2026.

Hello breeders, there will be several changes in the 2026 season.

In the spring I plan to build another department and thereby increase the capacity of the OLR to 2000 pigeons, this will only be implemented if at least 1300 pigeons are registered by March.

The final race will be Chomutov – 420 km. and the Extra Final Bayreuth – 520 km.

The price for 1 Team – 4 pigeons is 600€, which is the average price per pigeon 150€.

The Super Team competition will be limited to a maximum of 12 birds, while the breeder can register more teams. The Super Team competition is flown by the first 3 pigeons of the breeder that arrive. In the event of poor flight of pigeons from the final and failure of at least three prize-winning teams after the end of the race, i.e. 72 hours from the start, this ranking will also be made from two member teams.

The award is calculated based on 1500 paid pigeons, which is approximately the same for all OLRs in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

A total of 73% of the collected money will be given for the award, which is the most of all European and world OLRs. The OLR Žilina award for the 2026 season will be unbeatable even with a half-full 50% occupancy. European OLRs give 40 to 60% of the collected money for the award.

The final race is planned for Friday, September 11, 2026, in case of favorable weather.

The acceptance of pigeons to the OLR will be from March 1 to May 15, 2026. The collection will be planned from SK and CZ 3 times from each direction during March, April and May.
